Description

SHE'S READY TO GO* - long term, bluewater cruising yacht at a realistic price.

*If you don't believe us, take a look through the inventory below and see how thoroughly this yacht has been set up to handle all conditions. Imagine the cost of replacing this level equipment at today's prices, accordingly, 'Dingo' represents excellent value for money at this price!!!

This is an opportunity to own a genuine long range cruising yacht set up by owners who have been out there doing it. Everything about this yacht says TOUGH. They wanted a yacht that was not 'too finished' so they could custom build her to their own specific bluewater capabilities. Once you have seen her for yourself, you will agree with us that they have exceeded their original objectives. 'Dingo' is an excellent example of 'road testing' each and every system first hand to meet the owner's exacting requirements of strength, reliability and (life saving) safety.

With comfortable accommodation for two, the owners have been out there and done it -
Offshore: Hobart to Bluff, New Zealand's South Island fjords for 10 weeks, Port Pegasus Stewart Island, East coast of New Zealand to Bay of Islands via Cook Strait, Marlboro/Pelorus Sounds, New Caledonia, Bundaberg to Hobart. Locally: crossing Bass Strait twice, circumnavigated Tasmania, visited Port Davey/Bathurst harbour twice, the Gordon river twice in addition to multiple trips around the Tasmanian coast.

Dingo is comfortable, dry and with a sea kindly motion and above all, an extremely sea worthy vessel (she surfed the big seas off Stewart island in 50 hours of gales encountered during the NZ voyage).

'Dingo' is a functional, working boat that's been maintained to a high standard. Van de Stadt designed yachts are renowned for their great sailing abilities so if you are looking for a real sailing adventure in a purpose built vessel, an inspection of 'Dingo' will be worth the effort.

Dingo ihas just been slipped with hull paint, antifoul and over-all annual maintenance undertaken.

Owner is prepared to sell Dingo's current heavy weight mooring in Port Cygne, to complete the total package!
